The course was renovated about a year ago. The driving range is quite the popular spot now. They have it all electtonic... very similar to Top Golf's technology. The guys really enjoy both the driving range and the course. It's super convenient, and although it's busy, there are always spots available.
They've done a great job cleaning this place up. They driving range is awesome. They have automatic ball feeders and ball trackers so you can see your shots.
Bellaire has come a long way. Let's review the range. It's magnificent, effective, and low priced.
Top tracer technology on every bay. This technology is being formatted at a lot of ranges nowadays. But, unlike some other ranges, this one is free. It's always there, whether you use it or not.
The environment is laid back, relaxing and I'm sure at night is pretty busy. Corn hole, fire pit food and drinks make this place a go to for golfers and non golfers alike.
I paid 8 bucks for a small. I believe the medium is 12. Like I said the top tracer is free and not added to the cost of your session.
Range balls are Wilson d3. A 2 piece ball (pictured), I have noticed that they are on the newer side (nice set of dimples) and work great.
All and all.. get here and be fulfilled by this golfing experience
P.s - Jesse is a phenomenal range coordinator. She's always helping me and my friends find bays quickly and efficiently
Amazing place and people! Traveled in to the area with some friends that are not big golfers and they were nervous about getting out and playing, but this course and staff made everyone comfortable. Even with that though, the course was still in great shape and a fun track for avid golfers to get some work in too. We will be back next month when we are back in town. Keep growing the game Bellair!
Great experience and really impressed with all the recent updates to the property. The range is really enjoyable and The Patio bar is very reasonable and has a great selection and I highly recommend both the pizza and the steak tacos!! Both times I have eaten at the Patio Bar Bryan has been awesome and is extremely passionate about fostering a welcoming environment. Doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or a seasoned pro the staff is always extremely helpful and eager to assist.
Highly recommend and you will not be disappointed!
Wife and I visited the other day. Place was packed, which is always great to see but was also a touch frustrating. With a short course you can’t just tee off and wait for the group ahead of you to finish, not worth the risk of hitting someone. The start times could be extended by a minute or two so that you can walk up and get going without wasting time waiting for the next hole. With that, the pace of play was very slow (3 1/2 hours). Too slow for a short course, and there was no one out ensuring groups were moving along properly. (There was a frost delay. Never heard of that, even growing up in northern NV and living in IL. If you book an early morning tee time, you roll the dice with course conditions.)
The driving range was top notch. The top tracer was really cool to use without playing the Top Golf prices. There is seating so you can come with friends and hang out.
There is a food truck, but they didn’t seem to want to follow their own posted hours. Not sure if this was a one time thing or if it’s regular. Luckily, the pro shop did have drinks and a small selection of snacks.
You can tell they are putting in a ton of work to get the course better. Sand traps are being replaced with very nice white sand. The greens are very fast. Even playing in the morning they were very fast.
Overall a nice short course where you don’t need to be able to crush it with a driver, and can still be able to have a good time. Great place to work on the short game and approaches. Or even just polish up on some Par 3 practice.
What a fun place to play. Great fun for the whole family. The drivi g range was packed at 1pm. Good for them and that neighborhood. Other small neighborhood courses have a lot to earn from what they are doing over there. I mean massage, shot tracers, and friendly staff.
Course is a blast to play. Super fast and slopy greens make this short course a fun challenge. The sand traps are actively being re-sanded. O ly reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the tee boxes were in rough shape with tough ground.
Enjoyed the time!
A buddy I worked with mentioned how Bellair had a few changes, so I decided to go and visit and hit a jumbo bucket of golf balls. Although it was a bit warm, as I expected, it was sure nice to have something to sit under and hide away from the heat. I'll visit again.
